DC4 – Exploring coupled THMC processes occurring in the caprock in highly instrumented sites
Norwegian University of Science and Technology
He is a doctoral candidate from Seoul, South Korea. From about one and half decades of living in AB Canada, he has developed interest on the principles of geology and their importance in the maintenance and sustainable usage of the natural environment.
His research interest is on Physical and Chemical Hydrogeology, Groundwater Quality (Reservoir Integrity) Management, Carbon Dioxide Management via Capture, Storage and Geosequestration, Analysis/Interpretation of Induced Subsurface Response, and Hydrothermal Circulation in Geologic Media.
His research in NTNU will focus on the exploration of coupled THMC processes occurring in the caprock, via investigations at highly instrumented sites.
He holds a Master of Science degree in Geological Science from Yonsei University, South Korea, and Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from University of Calgary, Canada. Prior to the start of his PhD, he has worked as a Post-Masters Research Associate for the Department of Earth System Sciences, in Yonsei University.
