Philip Ringrose

He is a Specialist in reservoir geoscience at Equinor and Adjunct Professor in CO2 Storage at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. He holds a PhD in applied geology from University of Strathclyde in Scotland.  He has been engaged with many CCS project developments with Equinor over the last 15 years and is a leader in the Centre for Geophysical Forecasting based at NTNU. He has published widely on reservoir geoscience and flow in rock media including textbooks on Reservoir Model Design and How to Store CO2 underground. His research interests include geology, petrophysics, multiphase flow and geophysical monitoring. In 2018 he was appointed as Honorary Professor (Sustainable Geoenergy) at the University of Edinburgh, School of Geosciences, Edinburgh, UK.
