Oriol Montserrat

He is Head of the Remote Sensing Department at CTTC. He holds a PhD in Aerospace Science and Technology from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (2012). Between 2003 and 2013 he worked as a researcher at the Active Remote Sensing Unit of the Institute of Geomatics. In recent years, he has participated in national and international research projects, like the FP6 and FP7 EU-projects Galahad and Subcoast, and the ESA-funded projects Terrafirma and PSIC4. His main research interest has been focused on the development of new algorithms for the exploitation of data coming from remote sensing sensors, with emphasis on SAR and Laser sensors, mainly for the application of deformation measurement and analysis.
