Katja C. Schulze

She is Subject Matter Expert (SME) Geoscience at Craytive Technologies. She is involved in developing the extended reality (XR) platform BaselineZ, which serves true 3D-XR visualization, collaboration, and storytelling around subsurface geoscience data. In her role, Katja works closely with the software development team and with customers to ensure both software quality and user focused functionality. Prior to Craytive she has been working as product owner for geomechanics software, and as technical advisor and consultant for geomechanics at Baker Hughes and at GeoMechanics International. Katja holds a Diplom (Masters) in Physics (1996) and a Doctoral degree (PhD) in Geophysics (2002) both from the University of Bonn, Germany. During her Diplom research she investigated the subsurface of a hydrological test site using shallow geoelectric and electromagnetic methods. Her PhD research was focused on pore pressure variations at great depth. Here she conducted long term monitoring (years) of the fluid level in (super) deep boreholes (KTB, Germany; Kola-SG3, Russia) and analyzed the signatures of the respective time series.
