Eugenio Realini

He focused his research on the use of low-cost GNSS receivers since his PhD studies at Politecnico di Milano (Italy), co-founding and developing the open-source positioning software goGPS. Since 2009 to 2014 he carried out post-docs in Japan (at Osaka City University and Kyoto University) on precise positioning and atmospheric monitoring with low-cost GNSS receivers. Since 2014 he works at Geomatics Research & Development srl in Italy, directing GNSS-related R&D activities. He has been coordinator of the Horizon projects GIMS and MAGDA, and of the ESA project HYPER-5G. He has managed GReD activities in the projects BRIGAID, TWIGA, EDWIGE, STEAM, LAMPO, SINOPTICA, CAMALIOT and TEMBO all including R&D on low-cost GNSS data processing to monitor ground displacements, atmospheric water vapor, water levels, and ionospheric total electron content.
