Emad Jahangir
Emad Jahangir has obtained his PhD on soil-structure interaction at Lorraine university (Geology and Mining school of Nancy). He has joined the Geomechanics team of Mines Paris in 2013 and since then his research field is focused on Thermo-Hydro-Mechanical coupling in underground explorations where the temperature is the main interest of his research. From very low temperature (ground freezing applications) to very high temperatures (deep geothermal applications) his research covers firstly the geomatrials behavior and secondly their interactions with surrounding structures as tunnels or drilling tools.
