SMILE participates in the European Night of Researchers

SMILE MSCA-DN participates in the European Night of Reseachers in Palma (Mallorca) on Friday, 29th September. SMILE team members have offered several workshops and activities to communicate the importance of geo-energies to fight climate change.
Climate change is caused by the increase in greenhouse gas emissions, mainly of carbon dioxide (CO2). The subsoil offers us geothermal renewable energy, capacity to storepermanently CO2 and to store energy, with the to achieve a world free of emissions into the atmosphere.
The event has been organized by the Autonomous Secretariat of Innovation and Digital Society and in which many of the research centers located on the island of Mallorca participated: IMEDEA, COB-IEO, IFISC, IGME, IRFAP, IdISBa, UIB, SOCIB and Delegation of the CSIC in the Balearic Islands.
