Technical workshop “Advances in modelling and monitoring for CO2 storage assurance”

In this workshop we will hear about some of the latest developments in modelling and monitoring for CO2 storage sites. The process of forecasting and monitoring a CO2 store clearly need to work together. We will look at modelling of the caprock containment system and the aquifer storage units, including advances in coupled modelling. On the monitoring side we will hear about advances in use of FO DAS, use of 4D seismic and FWI and advances in passive seismic monitoring. The workshop is organised in collaboration with the NTNU Centre for Geophysical Forecasting (CGF) and the SMILE MSCA-DN.
